Given the social distancing restrictions we will continue using Zoom for club meetings for the remainder of the 2020/21 season. The programme for January to April 2021 is now available and can be viewed by clicking on the link below. (It will be available on the OPS website shortly)
The first club night for the New year will be a Members Evening on 12 January.
The topic of this session will be "Creative Challenge: Try Something New!" Members should try a new photographic genre or technique. Submit 3 images and explain what you have done that is new.
There are two PDI challenges in January:
19 January "Colour to Mono" members should submit 2 mono images together with the original colour images. Mick White will be judging and looking well how the colour images have been converted to mono.
26 January The topic for this PDI challenge is "Red". Pat Couder will be judging.
Given the current social distancing restrictions, members will be allowed to use images from their back catalogue for the PDI challenges on 19 and 26 January.
In February we will be holding Members Evenings on 2 and 9 February:
Everyone is welcome to participate and talk for about 10 minutes on a project or aspect of their photography. Members should cover the why, what, when and how of their project illustrated with between 5 and10 images. We will split the event into two sessions of 6 which will allow members a good 10 minutes to talk.
