Just be careful of the massive cycle ride this weekend.  They are practically closing off Surrey. It's a big cycle to celebrate the Olympics and they will be following the Olympic cycle route. I checked and we should juuuust get away with it.  See here  http://www.tfl.gov.uk/gettingaround/27647.aspx
