The Clipper Round the World Yacht Race starts in London this year. Between 24 – 30 August 1000 – 1900 daily the Clippers will be on show in St Katherine Dock.

On Sunday 1 September the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race fleet will begin its 40,000 nautical mile endurance challenge. Take your position and snap the fleet as they slip lines to set off on the ultimate endurance sailing adventure. Below are a few possible locations to see the yachts.

Central Basin Departure Ceremony 13.30 - 15.00

Fleet slip lines and enter the Thames 15.00 – 15.40

On the Thames The fleet circuit in a Parade of Sail 15.15 – 16.00

Tower Bridge will open and fleet pass underneath 16.00 – 16.30

The fleet continue down towards the Thames Barrier, estimated arrival 17.20

THURSDAY 22nd AUGUST 2019 – UPPER POOL
As a part of the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race, 11 yachts will proceed inbound, line astern and under power from sea to the St. Katharine Dock. The yachts will arrive in the Upper Pool for a 17:45 lock in at St. Katharine Dock, escorted by the Harbour Service Launch
