I am glad the evening was useful...
We covered a lot of ground in Lightroom from setting up a new catalog, organising the file structure, importing photographs from an SD card and from a windows directory. We then went on to the develop module and looked at the basic developing tools and finally how to export files as sRGB jpegs for our competitions (just to please Richard's stringent demands!).
There were some break-out discussions and I for one picked up some tips about Sync Settings to save time when developing more than one image (thanks to Barrie) and the various preset profiles under Camera Calibration (thanks to Chris N).
Overall, I guess it was quite a lot to take in for one session for some, but I for one am looking for a similar evening in the future on Photoshop.
