The challenge for March is WATER.

Simple rules.

Topic: Must keep to subject*.
Time Limit: The calendar month the theme is posted.
Where & When: No location limits but try to use images taken for the challenge (ie not from old files.)
Remember: It is just fun, taking part is more important than a winning shot.

The tiny flower buds of a Berberis dawinii in a glass of water. Each bud has a cocoon of air around them.

Did you poke a straw through the stem and blow air down it to coalesce around the flower buds?

Shame on you Chris, as if I would do something like that..!

In fact it was a pure fluke. I had stuffed it into a jar to photograph the other end but noticed the trapped air. In a way it's photographing water in negative.

By the way these buds are only about 3mm wide!
