We'll set a date for this trip when we meet on the 16th August.
Most likely weekends as I need to fit around being offsite for a while in September.

Hi,

Here are some provisional dates:
Saturday 11th September,
Saturday 25th September,
Sunday 26th September.
Train services are normal on these dates and they also have low tide around noon. The Isle of dogs has 5 foreshore access points. Looking at the photos shared after the Wapping to Canary wharf trip, I think this was a popular 'feature' of the tour, so lets have more of the same.

As before here is my edited guide.
Isle_of_Dogs_walk_OPS.pdf
Any recommendations for lunch welcome. I will re-read the guide.
Comments and feedback appreciated.

Hi Ian,

All dates are OK for me at the moment.

I have a slight preference for 25th/26th September though.

Hi,

Shall we go with Saturday 25th September, meet at 10:30 at Canary Wharf station?
More trains to/from London bridge on a Saturday makes travel easier.

We should make it to Island Gardens, around half way by around 12:30, there are a few pubs and restaurants around there. I checked the football on TV, the games are from 15:00 onward that day.

There are four locations with river access on the Isle of Dogs, the best one I've been to is opposite the old Naval college. We'll see what it is like on the day.
