OPS has entered the KCPA Diamond Jubilee competition.  It takes place on Saturday 22nd February from 1.45pm.

Dear Club Secretaries.
 
Please share the following information with your fellow club members, regarding the Kent County Photographic Association (KCPA) Diamond Jubilee Competition which takes place on Saturday 22nd February 2025, at Ditton Community Centre. Ditton,. Aylesford. Kent. ME20 – 6AH

 
Doors open at 1.45 and event should finish around 5.30.
 
Come along and see all the PDIs on a slideshow of what your affiliated KCPA clubs have entered into this year’s competition.

Hear our Judge Jay Charnock FRPS APAGB comment on 1 image per club, and see what club members images receive a Merit Award, see the image that has been judged to be the best in the competition. Which club is awarded

the Most Improved Club Trophy, along with the 1st and 2nd placed clubs who will go onto represent the KCPA in the PAGB PDI Championships later in the year.
 
Why not speak to your fellow club members and arrange to come along together to this prestigious event in the KCPA Calendar.

Not only a good chance to see other images that have been entered by other clubs, but also a good opportunity to mix with your fellow club members, and those from other clubs..

The KCPA look forward to seeing you and your club members at the event on 22nd February 2025. Let’s make this event a record turnout to celebrate the first competition of 2025.

David Bacon & I have just returned from the KCPA PDI competition.

31 clubs entered...

The winners were Maidstone CC with 148 points.

OPS were 31st with 130 points.

Better luck next year!

Comments were made on the highest scoring image from each club. Wild Short Eared Owl with Vole by Fay Saunders was chosen for comment.  Well done Fay.
