Here are some details regarding this weekend's KCPA Exhibition selection weekend.

Event will take place at Detling Village Hall on Saturday 5th April and Sunday 6th April.

Free KCPA Event only need £1 Coins for refreshments.

Dear KCPA Club Members.

KCPA EXHIBITION SELECTION WEEKEND 2025.

This takes place on Saturday and Sunday this week, 5th & 6th April 2025 at Detling Village Hall, Pilgrims Way, Detling, Maidstone. ME14 3EY. The selection is an event open to all club members!

Do come along and see how the exhibition images are selected. Even if you haven’t entered this year’s exhibition the KCPA Committee are sure you will find the event interesting.

On Saturday we will show all of 841 PDI’s entered & On Saturday we will ask our selectors to score all of the prints entered by our members.

Please make sure you don’t miss out on the opportunity of attending 1 or both of the selection days.

An opportunity to see all the PRINTS and PDIs submitted for possible inclusion into this year’s exhibition.

The event is free. You only pay for Refreshments Tea, Coffee, Squash £1 Cash each.

Please car share with other club members if possible.

SATURDAY 5th April 2.30 onwards PDI’s

SUNDAY 6th April 10am onwards PRINTS (Please bring a packed lunch)
 
Note – If attending on Sunday you may be able to collect your (or your clubs) prints. However, please be patient as the last section selected may not be put into order yet.

Our Selectors are -

Rosemary Wilman HonFRPS, AFIAP, APAGB.

David Smith LRPS, CPAGB. BPE1*

Colin Westgate FRPS, MPAGB, APAGB, MFIAP

 Our 3 selectors score all the images using their buzzers, pressing 2– 5 to score each of the images out of 15.

The KCPA look forward to Welcoming club members to this event.
 
All of the images accepted in the exhibition will be on display at Creek Creative Gallery, 1 Abbey St. Faversham. ME13 7BE Upper and lower Galleries.

Prints will go on display and accepted pdi’s will be shown via TV screen.
