Lens cleaning

What is the advice on cleaning lenses?

There's a lot of stuff on sale and I'm sure most of it will do more harm then good. It's about time I stopped using my shirt tails...

Advice on what brand of cloth, sprays or liquids etc would be welcomed. What works for you? Links to brands etc would be useful.

Xmas wish list is being compiled as I type.
