Some ideas for outings follow.  If any get traction, I'll do a bit more scouting out and share info:

Trooping the Colour - 9 June  http://www.trooping-the-colour.co.uk/
Lord Mayors Appeal Hot Air Regatta  - weather dependent date options 3, 10, 17 June or 1 July  http://www.balloonregatta.com/
Greenwich, Docklands International Festival between 21 June and 7 July.  Wide variety of locations and options but some things that looked attractive include high wire and a herd of mechanical creatures.  https://festival.org/gdif-2018/

I like the look of the Balloon Regatta as I want to get more colour into my photos.  Looks like an early start one Sunday morning!

I’am definitely keen on Regatta as nearest alternative down West somewhere - Bath or Bristol I recall
