Partial Eclipse June

I will check if Orpington Astronomical Society will be holding a meeting for the above at the sports field in Otford, opposite the Bull pub.

They are very friendly and helpful.

Regarding the eclipse, had a reply from Orpington Astro club today. no members of the public can be invited to any meetings, even outdoors, at this moment.

Hope this gives you time to arrange another meeting place

Did anyone get todays Partial Eclipse, Cloud base made it very difficult and below were best I could manage, two early and one vary late....

That's incredible Barrie - did you use any filter or did the clouds do the filtering for you?

Used 10 stop Lee Filter and focused only from the LCD once clouds started to clear.
