Sad News about Tony Seppings

Chris Sawyer
I am sad to report that I have been informed that Tony Seppings has passed away.

Many of you will not have met him, but he was a permanent fixture at the club for over 60 years.  He joined OPS in 1953 and left just a few years ago making him the longest serving member.  He was Chair of the club on two separate occasions (1966-69) and (2000-02).

I remember him well and was fortunate to attend a club meeting in 2011 when he took us through his photographic journey from the early 50s onwards.

Very sad news. Many of us had a number of conversations with him.
Thank you for letting us know.

That is sad news. Will you be advised of the funeral arrangements?
Tony was a great ambassador for the club. His Friday night print discussion evenings at his house were always well attended, not to mention the refreshments provided.

I have not heard anything as yet about any funeral arrangements, but I will post the details as soon as I am advised of these.
