St Kilda tree crashes onto Green in Storm 02.30am 24th Dec 2013

Saw this today. I couldn't believe it. The tree is massive. Makes the panel of my garden fence that blew over a minor insignificance.

Thank god it didn't go the other way would have flattened Brians house! I used to live next door at number 9, poor ole tree x

A large tree came down just opposite my house in The Meadway that night.

It took out the owners fence and blocked the service road to the Windsor Drive shops for a few days:



Never found out who owned the car though...





It did suffer a broken rear window and untold damage to the roof. It was removed before I could add some Christmas bourbles to the tree...
