Summer outing Folkestone and/or Romney Hythe and Dymchurch

Hi,

I'm considering some ideas for a summer break costal outing and would like some feedback. There is a poll below to vote.

Option 1 Folkestone

A day trip to Folekstone, starting at the Harbour Arm, taking in the sights and sounds, locating the Anthony Gormley statue and a spot of street food for lunch. Could then progress to the creative quarter.

Perhaps stop at Samphire Hoe if time allows.

Option 2 day out on Romney Hythe and Dymchurch Railway (RHDR)

Starting at Hythe, take the train to Dungeness, photograph the huts, spot of lunch then head back to Hythe.
There also steam trains and curios on route.

A Romney rover ticket is £28/£25 for concessions.

When

Allowing for the other outings and holidays, either end of June/beginning of July or early September. I still have 14 days holiday, so could do a weekday outing.

Happy to discuss.
