Is anyone else starting from Orpington station? Should we meet up?
If so, either the 9:09am (arrives 09:31) or 9:39am (arrives 10:01) to London Bridge, then the Jubilee Line to Canning Town?
Ian will be at Canning Town at 10:15am.
Thoughts/comments?

Yes Jan, could meet at station for 9am assuming the earlier we leave the coaches will be empty !

Forecast not brilliant with some showers but better than clear blue skies

Hi,

There's a bus replacement service on trains between Orpington and Lewisham this weekend. https://www.southeasternrailway.co.uk/travel-information/live-travel-information/planned-engineering-work?date=2021-07-10#engineering-departure-board. TFL journey planner still shows trains departing Ok, weird.
I'm taking the DLR from Woolwich, it's 20 minutes from home.

Weather could be changeable, I'm British, will pack a jacket and umbrella, as well as the camera.

See you Saturday.

Thanks for this Ian, I have been caught with these replacement services and definitely a no go area.

Also looked at Woolwich but not sure where to park safely, any ideas plus timing.

Chris and Jan, if you want a lift with windows open I’am available.

Barrie,

I'm parking my car @ Woolwich Arsenal Station car park, it is a long stay car park and secure. It is £4.30 for the day. You might need an app to pay, have just setup the app for myself. Details here:
https://www.apcoa.co.uk/parking-in/woolwich/woolwich-arsenal-station/

You can take the 51 bus but it is about 1 hour from Orpington to Woolwich!

Hi Barrie,

Thanks for your offer of a lift to Woolwich.  I am happy to join you and will wear a mask if it helps.
