Hi,

I still hope to go ahead with this visit, providing there are no additional restrictions and everyone is happy to attend. Will look in detail after Christmas, we'll have a better idea of what is possible and people want to do.

The meeting point would be on Canon Street itself, outside the station. Open to suggestions of where to go. I fancy heading toward Leadenhall Market, the Gherkin,London wall and then back to Canon Street.

Hi,

It looks like we can go ahead as there are no government restrictions. Who is still interested in attending?

Check your train times before going as the engineering works may impact times a little bit.

Hi Ian,

Yes - I am coming along on Thursday.

I'm planning to get the 10.09 train from Orpington.  One change at London Bridge and arrives at Cannon Street at 10.41.  Is that OK for meeting up?

Hi Ian, hope to come. But not sure about meet up time - original suggestion was 1.0. But now I see that Chris is aiming to be up there for 11.0?
Says trains from Chelsfield are every half hour so I can arrive from just after 11.0 (03) to 13.00 (03)

Hi,

With regard to the start time, how about 12PM?
Normally we'd start earlier, walk around then have lunch. I guess the enthusiasm for lunch in a cafe/restaurant is limited in the current situation, so I was thinking of a bigger breakfast then get a coffee and snack whilst out and finish before it gets dark, around 3PM.

If the revised time is agreed, I'll update the first post.

David, don't worry if you get there at 12:03, we'll wait, there's no rush to be anywhere at a set time.

Edit:
A few places of interest

Hi all

The revised timing still works for me as was personally keen to spend some time with my ND filter or similar for some city scapes.

If your okay with arriving about 11am at Cannon Street (Chris) I will see you at agreed time at Orp. then hang around for others (or leave for later train)

PS agree little desire for Pubs etc and decent breakfast will see me through
PSS def. using tripod this time

Good afternoon all.
Sadly, I am unable to join you on Thursday (family matters) but look forward to seeing images in due course.
Enjoy the time.
