In a multi-award winning career spanning more than 50 years as a national newspaper photographer (Today, Daily Mirror, Daily Star, Daily Express) and picture editor (News of the World, Sun), Ken has experienced thousands of such moments through the full gamut from the firing of the camera shutter to the selection of images for publication or exhibition.
As a photographer, he has covered everything from general news to wars, royalty on tour at home and overseas, and the rich and famous in the worlds of sport, entertainment and politics, and his camera captured the only image (a single frame) of Margaret Thatcher in tears when she left Downing Street for the last time at the end of her premiership.
