Xmas quiz

Richard W
I would like to offer my thanks to Chris Sawyer who yet again offered us a great quiz rounding off a terrible year for us with humour, technical challenges and questions worthy of University Challenge, thank you very much Chris. It was a fun evening for all with a bit of banter thrown in as appropriate. Hopefully next year will see us back in teams of 4 around tables in the hall again. Happy Xmas to you all 🎄🎄

Yes many thanks Chris for the quiz and congratulations to Richard.  Given the circumstances it was a great effort and an enjoyable evening.  Happy Christmas and looking forward to meeting in the hall for the 21/22 season.

A big thanks from me Chris, even with my dodgy mouse needing a charge I thoroughly enjoyed the complexity of your questions for which Bamber Gascogne would be proud to provide.

It’s one of those regular events at Xmas - Covid could not stop us from enjoying.

Thanks for all your kind messages about the quiz.  I really enjoyed it as usual.  It wouldn't be the same without the laughs, chat and arguments and for that I thank you all.  Now to check out Wikipedia for next year's bash.
