CANCELLED Canary Wharf to Island Gardens

This post was updated on .
Hello,

The final one I can plan at the moment.

Meeting point
For this walk meet outside Canary Wharf Underground station on the concourse @10:30?

We would then walk around the West side of the Isle of Dogs:

There are a few nice pubs/restaurants en-route. Ending at Island Gardens allows you to take the DLR north to Canary Wharf or South to Lewisham to make your journey home.

It is high tide at 12:08 PM on this date, so no foreshore/beach access.

Sad to say I won’t be able to make this trip on the 25th as I am away, providing EasyJet don’t cancel my flight.

Hi,

Richard informed me tonight that there is a possibility of a rail strike on Saturday 25th June.

We'll see how this develops before looking at alternative dates.

It's looking certain there will be a large scale train strike on the chosen date, we'll have to cancel this trip.
There will be skeleton train services on the day but no timetable has been published.

What alternative dates could everyone attend if still interested?

I have Saturday 2nd July, 9th July and 30th July free.

I normally chose a Saturday as in normal times there are more trains and fewer engineering works.
