Canary Wharf to Island Gardens for 2023 Sunday 11th June

Hi,

Trying to fit this one in June, so far trains are running. Any preference for either the Saturday or Sunday?
I had 5 people say they were interested, anyone else?

For this walk meet outside Canary Wharf Underground station on the concourse @10:30?

We would then walk around the West side of the Isle of Dogs:



There are a few nice pubs/restaurants en-route. Ending at Island Gardens allows you to take the DLR north to Canary Wharf or South to Lewisham to make your journey home.

Okay for walk around Canary - prefer Sunday 11th June

Hi,

Sunday 11th June it is. To get there, take the Southeastern service to London Bridge then the Jubilee line to Canary Wharf. Southeastern trains are not stopping at Lewisham so the DLR option is out.

Low tide is at 1:17PM, so if there is convenient foreshore access, we'll take it. There is a place opposite maritime greenwich:

There's a slow train from Orpington Plat 4 @ 9.21, arriving LB @ 9.51 + 14 mins to Canary Wharf arriving 10.15ish or a fast Orp Plat 2 @ 9.42 Arriving LB @ 9.58 + 14 mins arriving at CWharf nearer 10.30
