The challenge for May is ARCHITECTURE and/or LANDSCAPE.

Simple rules.

Topic: Must keep to subject.
Time Limit: The calendar month the theme is posted.
Where & When: No location limits but try to use images taken for the challenge (ie not from old files.)
Remember: It is just fun, taking part is more important than a winning shot.

This is one of the topics included in the Summer Challenge.

Only post Forum Challenge images here. These do not have to be in the minimalist style.

Although I have done this in a minimalist style these challenge images do not have to be.

Likewise any of the Summer Challenge Architecture/Landscape images do not need to be taken in May.

Where does "minimalist" end and "abstract" begin?

An abstract image does not attempt to represent an accurate depiction of a visual reality but instead use shapes, colours and forms to achieve its effect.
Minimalist is reality, but with few or one main element.

OK I get the hint. It's abstract but still counts for this purpose...

Here is one, taken this afternoon on my phone at Shingle Street in Suffolk. I think it works better in mono and upping the contrast makes the leading line of shells stand out. The dramatic sky has also helped the overall composition.
