Good Spot Richard. This is faaaaaannnntastic. It looks like Google are just giving it away free indefinitely. But just in case it isn't I strongly encourage you all to download ASAP. Silver efex has been a good friend of mine over the last few years. I'm dying to try out Analog Efex.
Cheers big man,but as I am a strong upstanding British citizen I won't all take the credit. One of the guys from my other camera club in Wales posted it on Facebook so I am merely a messenger. I offer this on the premise that next season we get more entrants into the club photo rounds BUT nobody is allowed to score more than me - ha ha !!
Just installed this on my laptop. Works a treat. Just remember to link it to whichever programme you prefer. I linked to lightroom. Once installed. Open lightroom, from any image, right click. edit in..... Choose any of the NIK addons. The image will then open up the NIK software and you can play to your heart's content.
Thanks to Richard for finding the Nik Software freebie. I also saw it posted on the KCPA facebook page, so everyone in Kent should have it by now. I've got it plugged into Lightroom and it works a dream..
Typical, paid for the original version from NIK several years ago and now its free, wonder if i can get my money back !
But worth every penny anyway….
