Local requesting camera fixing help.

We have been contacted via Facebook by a local lady asking for some advice. He has acquired a Canonet Rangefinder camera that has a sticking shutter. She wants to know if there are any local camera repair businesses or other suggestions.

In all honesty, bearing the value of the camera in mind, she would be best of slinging it as the costs of repair would outweigh the value of the camera itself.
If she really want to keep it she can contact Canon direct for advice or even try Fixation in Vauxhall for advice. Obviously I dont know if they are actually at work at this time
