London to Brighton Veteran Cars

This event, commonly known as the "Old Crocks" (which title can be applied to a few of us) takes place on 2 November. I am thinking about driving to Brighton to see some of them arrive. Is anyone else interested? I will publish my plan here later (once I have permission to attend).

My plan is to arrive in Brighton at about 11:00, park in the Park and Ride at Withdean Stadium and take the bus to the town centre. I shall be on Madeira Drive. I shall be with a bored wife who wishes she was elsewhere. If we meet we can find a place for a chat and coffee and cake.

Sorry to miss out on the Veteran cars in Brighton, but I already have a date with Billy Vunipola.

I'll be heading some of the way down (Stonegate) but that will be to collect my 'old crock' which has been having the timber renovated. Looking at the forecast for tomorrow some of the cars may not make much headway in the winds!
