David, Shallow depth of field really works in the 'down the drain' shot.  I guess you needed a wide aperture to get a high shutter speed anyway.

Chris, 1/4000 at f4 for both pics.
I had never thought about the shape of the drops as they emerge or that surface tension would make them hang until they got too heavy to be held up.

Hi,

My turn today to get a few bird shots. Luckily I had the camera ready to go whilst sailing the model boats.









I need to work on the sharpness a bit but some where snapshots, I relied on the previously dialled in camera settings (1/1000-1/1250 shutter and burst mode).
