Meeting 230321

Fay
That was interesting last night. I would be interested in some tuition on NIK, also have to remember what Richard was saying about the bright edges in mono, and Ron was very interesting but I could not see where he was getting his info from as our photos were on top of the relevant places.

Fay,

You can get rid of the grid of our pictures in Zoom.  Just click the line in the bar above the pictures.  That minimises them and they go away.  They come back automatically when Ron stops sharing.

Fay,

Dxo, the current vendor of Nik effects have some great, free, webinars on SilverFX:

https://nikcollection.dxo.com/project/the-basics-of-starting-out-with-silver-efex-pro-part-1/

https://nikcollection.dxo.com/project/advanced-tips-and-techniques-with-silver-efex-pro-part-2/

I'm a more recent convert to Dxo/Nikeffects. If you download the demo, you'll be on their mailing list and get money off offers.

Don’t forget to check the Google archive link ( previously added to forum) for stand alone plug-in if not purchased DXO - it seems to be limited to just three NIK plugins although all show as being downloaded.

Hi Ian, Thanks for posting the NIK Software video.  I followed the first one and learned a lot more than I knew already.  Strange that my version of Silver Efex Pro 2 does not have any Film Types.
