November challenge, Macro photography

Closing date, Sunday 29th November 2020

With newly imposed restrictions limiting our opportunities again, this month's challenge is on a topic you can participate in, closer to home, Macro photography.

Macro photography is taking photos of small objects to make them look life-sized or larger. Anything small, such as insects or things that we don’t normally get to see up close with the naked eye such as the detail in a coin or a flower are the usual candidates for macro photography.
Pay special attention to your focus because it can be tricky to get a macro photo in focus. Play with your exposure triangle, make sure you have enough light and be prepared to take LOTS of photos.

Closing date for entries will be 24th November, then voting opens.
Try to keep to 4 images per member, it makes the collation for voting easier.

I'll start this month's challenge off:


Freshly made Baby Groot.
It takes 7.5 hours to print one of these and a bit extra to clean him up a bit. Does not need to be too clean, as it adds to the character.
