Yes, it's either very arty or judges wouldn't understand...

Last night’s SLF Colour Print competition put us up against Carshalton, Beckenham, Selsdon, Croydon and Greenwood. The judge held 11 images including 2 from Orpington, competition was fierce.

Beckenham romped home with the win having 4 tens and a total of 73.5

The OPS came in a very respectable second with 69 points with Barrie Duffield securing a 10 and a certificate. Well done Barrie.

Carshalton   68
Selsdon  66.5
Croydon  64
Greenwood  60.5

We progress to the semi finals which will be held the same evening as our PDI semi final at West Wickham, Tuesday 12th February 2019. The judge will Be Glyn Bareham.

Our strongest entries last season were the mono prints. We do battle this season on Thursday 29th November at Bromley. Fingers crossed for a hat-trick of semi finals!

Our scores in the order they were shown:

Tonight the OPS went up against Bromley, Cheam, Mitcham, Old Coulsdon and Selsdon in the first round of the SLF Mono Print competition. It couldn't have finished any closer!

Old Coulsdon 67
Orpington      67
Bromley        66.5
Cheam          66.5
Selsdon         64
Mitcham        59

This put us against Old Coulsdon into a tie-break for top spot, we came second.

Bromley won against Cheam for 3rd spot.

This now means we are in 3 semi finals all being held at West Wickham on Tuesday 12th February 2019. Unfortunately this does clash with our 3rd round PDI competition...
