OPS Sponsored by Waitrose

Chris Sawyer
Waitrose stores run a scheme called 'Community Matters' where local causes can receive a share of a pot of money (£1,000 each month).

We applied to Waitrose at Green Street Green and OPS has been selected as one of the three causes in December 2016.

The money is split based on the number of green tokens each cause receives.  The green tokens are available at the tills when you pay for your groceries, etc.

We now need as many green tokens as possible to maximise our share of the pot - so get yourselves and your friends and family down to Waitrose and post as many tokens as possible.

Here's where you post the tokens:

Here's what we asked Waitrose to sponsor:

Re: OPS Sponsored by Waitrose

Bazza
Hi All

Can we make an effort to promote this community scheme with all our contacts and family

I have asked the guys at my Golf Club to offer help plus now talking to friends and family ( how about Orpington 1st, OVH plus the Church Hall to name but a few)

We need all the help we can during this current difficult membership period and many thanks to Chris in persevering to get the club listed with Waitrose

Not wanting to take all the glory...

I just wanted to add that it was originally Alan's idea to approach Waitrose to ask them to support our gallery at the Orpington Village Hall.
