PDI 3

OPS Notices
Administrator
Please note that the hand in date for the final round of this season's PDI competition is still Tuesday 5th February 2019.

This is to allow time for the judge to look through them and write up his comments as he is not able to make it on the 5th March.

No late submissions will be allowed!

The competition on the 5th March will be run in the normal way using Dicentra with the judges marks and comments being read out by Jan Gilkes. No one else will know the results until the reveal.

Send in your entries in the usual way.

This post was updated on .
The final round of the PDI competition was judged by Andy Smith LRPS but presented by Jan Gilkes LRPS. I would like to thank both of them for organising themselves to give us a result evening.

Andy only awarded one 20 which may have been intentional but I will list the five other images that got held. These were as follows (all scored 19):

'Show Off' by Yicheng Lu
'Strong & Reliable' by Barrie Duffield
'The Pollinator' by Chris Nash
'Running away with the fish' by Philip Brown

Well done for those being held.

the other held on the night and winner of PDI 3 was:

'Common Wasp' by Richard Waterman

The list of all the scores from the night are here: PDI_Three_Feb_2019_Results.pdf

Well done Richard for winning tonight.

The overall result for the PDI competition will follow...

The result for the PDI Competition 2018 - 2019:

Round 3 effected the running order and the gaps that had been established. The end result was much closer than expected but normal service seems to have been resumed...

Congratulations to Peter Humphrey FRPS who won the PDI Competition by 4 marks.

Second can Barrie Duffield who fought well to claw back some of the gap.

The full list of each round and final scores are listed here: PDI_Final_Positions_2018_-_2019.pdf
