Post Christmas outing 29/30 December

Hi,

It's getting close to festive time again. As is sort of tradition, I'm looking at a post Christmas outing, potential days are Monday 29th or Tuesday 30th December (weather permitting).

I'm open to suggestions on where to go.
Last year it was Kings Cross, prior years it has been Fleet street and St Paul/City of London.

One possibility, further afield, was Richmond on Thames?
Happy to discuss at the next few meetings.

Hi,

It's decided, Tuesday 30th December, weather permitting, we'll take a trip to Richmond upon thames.

When
If we meet at Waterloo station, by the clock around 10am, we can take the short ride to Richmond station.
Normal train services are scheduled.

What and where
Kind of easy going, we'll start at the station, walk through the high street to the green, snapping away.
Please watch some episodes of Ted Lasso beforehand
Then toward the riverfront, which was nice in the Summer, hopefully festive then along the river front toward Richmond hill viewing point.

Maybe visit Sawyer hill?

There are many options to eat and drink. No nearby Wetherspoons I'm afraid, it will be a bit more expensive here.
