SLF Finals Day Entries

Could you ask all your members entering the Finals Day competitions to make sure that their prints are mounted with a backing board on them, please. A number were very flimsily mounted last year which made them vulnerable to damage and also caused them to have a tendency to 'stick' to other prints.
Your co-operation would be much appreciated.

I will add "please fix the backing in a away that stops it falling off!"

Any particular marking requirement on mounts and/or PDIs DB?

I do not have instructions for this year. I expect to have them soon.
For prints it must be clear that they belong to OPS with something written on the back.
Make sure your prints are not floppy!
There was a naming convention for PDIs last year.

I will publish instructions on this thread when I have them.

Note that all prints must be on 40 x 50 cm mounts - prints not conforming to this size will not be accepted. Also note that the re-use of images in more than one discipline in the Open Competitions is not allowed.

Please ensure that prints are properly mounted with a backing board and use mounting tape (not masking tape!).
 
All prints must have the print title, author, club and club reference letter clearly marked on the back (a list of club reference letters is attached to this email). OUR REFERENCE LETTER IS N.
 
A digital file (1400 x 1050 pixel resolution) must accompany ALL prints, including those in the Inter-club Finals & Certificate Winners Competitions. If the author is unable to provide a digital file of a print, the club co-ordinator should photograph the print and submit the resulting file.
