I'm aiming for the 25th or 26th March for this one, more details to follow. Subject to change due to adverse weather and rail strikes.
The main 'season' of outings will commence middle of April onward.

Hello,

Assuming the weather is only slightly damp, we'll go ahead for Sunday 26th March.

Meeting point, outside Farringdon Station at 10:00 AM:

To get here from Orpington, you can take a South eastern train from Orpington to London Bridge, then change to Thameslink for 3 stops to Farringdon. You have to exit the rail station and cross the street to get to Elizabeth line, so we'll meet on the street:

We'll start the day at Farringdon Elizabeth line station. When ready, we'll proceed to Bond Street. There more phots, before the station gets too busy. The West end shops open at 11am, so it gives us some time to compose our shots.

After this, no rush, perhaps back to Liverpool street, then surface for some lunch?
Spitalfields, Truman brewery or even Brick lane are not too far.

After lunch, open to ideas, if you want to head home, you have many options.
One suggestion, head to Custom house, you can then, once exiting the station, take some photos in the Royal Victoria docks, where I took these images previously:

I thought the Elizabeth line was supposed to be quick:

1h36 from Farringdon to Liverpool Street!

Impressive...if you walk up and down all the platforms and escalators it could take that long.

Many thanks to Ian for organising the Elizabeth Line trip yesterday...with Spitalfields and Brick Lane extension.  It was good to be underground while it rained persistently outside.  There were some photographic challenges with the low light meaning high ISOs and/or low shutter speeds.  Everyone enjoyed the photographing the escalators and Barrie enjoyed riding them.

The Usual Suspects at Bond Street

Colourful Brick Lane

Great outing 70% in the dry with an interesting walk to Whitechapel that included protection money

++++

I will ask for a Release Note from these two (perhaps they would be willing share prospective points on the forthcoming Street Comp ) just too good to waste

And this photo bomber was stalking me all around the Elizabeth Line

Just one too many Escalators .....

Barrie,

What model release do I need to sign?
I suspect that Image may do well knowing the judge.

Can you get a smaller phone?

This sums up the day:
