Used Camera Equipment for Sale

Hi this mail from Sevenoaks Camera Club is BCCd to clubs around us at Tonbridge, Tandridge, Orpington and Malling.

We've been contacted by someone currently living at Brasted, west of Sevenoaks, who has some photo equipment to dispose of before he moves out of the area in a couple of weeks. The gentleman concerned is Terry Hope, Chief Editor of Professional Photo magazine. He's hoping that some of the gear will be of benefit to new owners, as he'd love to see it being properly used by enthusiasts who will get something out of it. And he would prefer not to have to take it with him in the move.

He has said it is fine to circulate the information to clubs around us, as well as Sevenoaks members, hence this mail to you as our closest neighbours in each direction.

Here's a list of some of the kit that's available:

* A two-head Courtenay flash lighting kit with stands (pic attached) in a (slightly tatty) box. It's old but in good working order and very usable, and could help someone to set up a small home studio. It's got to go before we leave in early July, so I would take £75 for it, but someone would need to pick it up since it can't be posted.

* A two-head Elinchrom Ranger Flash Kit (pic attached), boxed and with batteries and a charger. Would take £250 for this.

* A Samsung NX 1 28.2MP DSLR with 16-50mm zoom and 20mm f/2.8 pancake lens. Fantastic camera and very under the radar: would take £600 for the camera and both lenses.

• A Bronica ETRSi outfit (pic attached), consisting of a camera body plus 40mm, 75mm and 200mm lens and a Polaroid back, contained in an aluminium carrying case. Would take £450 for this.

• Nikon D200 (almost never been used) plus Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 and Nikon 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5. Would take £250 for this.

• Olympus E30 DSLR, Zuiko Digital 35mm f/3.5 Macro, Zuiko 40-150mm zoom f/4-5.6 - would take £200 for the outfit.

• Olympus E-510 and 14-42mm zoom - £125

* Zuiko Digital ED 70-300mm f/4-5.6 - £150

•  3-Legged Thing Punk Travis Tripod (never used) £100

* Sennheiser XS Wireless Digital Portable Lavalier Set (never used) £130

* Rotolight Ultimate Vlogging kit, with an RL48 light, a Rotopod mini tripod, Rotolight stand, twin accessory bar and filter set (never used). £50

He is hoping to dispose of them in the next two weeks before he moves, and clearly it is first come first served. If you are interested, Terry is happy that you contact him direct on

Terry also said that Professional Photo Online is now a free monthly magazine (www.professionalphoto.online) which is very easy to sign up to and posts stories and competitions up pretty much every day, and says it would be great to think that a few of us might enjoy taking a look!
