Wapping to Canary Wharf walk, August

Hello, me again,

With regard to a tour around Wapping/Shadwell, using the guides I posted recently, I have some proposed dates, if there is interest. I think the Wapping to Canary Wharf walk (3.5 miles) could be Ok, we can tailor this and take a bus/train if needed to reduce walking distance. To get to Wapping, I'd take the London Overground from New Cross, which it looks you can get to from Orpington via top-rail, then London Overground, through Brunel's first tunnel to Wapping. If we finish somewhere around Canary wharf, DLR back to Lewisham.

I'm on a 2 week staycation/holiday from Monday 9th August to Friday 20th August.  The 10th/11th have events but other days are free. Would travel off-peak for convenience and to reduce number of people around. Who else is interested?

Monday 9th August
Thursday 12th August
Friday 13th August (anyone superstitious)
Monday 16th August
Wednesday 18th August
Thursday 19th August

I'll start filling in the other days of my 2 week stay-cation soon.

I have a suggested route:

This is taking parts from the walk I posted earlier, it is slimmed down.

You'll notice I've identified a few places where you can access the Thames shoreline, Tower Hamlets has a number of access points. The idea is that if we visit on a day when it is low tide, we have an opportunity to take some phots from a different perspective of the River Thames, foreshore and buildings. Looking at the dates I posted and tide times, Friday 13th August has low tide at 12:19PM & Monday 16th August has low tide at 1:48PM..

If this is of interest, I suggest either of those dates.
I'm note sure why my Google Maps shows so many bars and pub, honest.

To get to Wappping, take the train to London Bridge, Jubilee line to Canada Water, then the overground for 2 stops to Wapping. The trip can end at Limehouse DLR, if the miles have added up or Westferry DLR. You can take the DLR to Lewisham or get to Canary Wharf DLR/Jubilee line back to London Bridge.

What are your thoughts?
