This is really interesting and I love the images we are seeing.  It certainly sounds like a challenge and thank you Barrie for all the information.
Perhaps one day I shall have a go!

Barrie, I couldn't make your session last night.  So, thanks for posting the notes.  I hope to give it a go later this month.

No problem, if you wish to try and then ask questions please contact me via forum or email.

Here’s one I had a go at today before the ratatouille had been cooked for tonight.....

Nice one Bazza, if you don't mind a comment I would say th eline between your "bench" and the background is far too sharp. The Auber on the left is a tad on the dark side and your carrots look like they have caught Corvid 19 ha ha!
Well done matey and thanks again for last night

Another question from last night, was the first flash shot taken from behind the subject?

Yep Corona 19 is getting everywhere now, agree with horizon on bench but those egg plants are really dark.

The main aim of this shot was to emphasis the textures but there’s not much on an egg plant.

The flash up to now has always been from left just in front of subject ( about 6 inches max ) I would like to go closer but bench does not allow.

Cheers for feedback and hope we can see some variety

Thanks for the Harold Ross update.  Watch out for some old tools from my man cave.
