Thanks Fay - I can see the cone and the Christmas Tree...and a very spooky eye in the middle of the photograph. Great shot for something that is 2,600 light years away...
well I was pleased to have got everything going and to get onto my subject. it is galaxy season now, so will wait for the next run of clear nights, although, lighter for longer.........I like to get going early

A great photo. Finding the christmas tree and cone shapes makes it a fun shot.
You'll have to tell us how you take the photos one day and what equipment you use. It's intriguingly different from the majority of the photography at the club.
