Anyone looking for a fairly (very) cheap option adding onto an existing Macro Lens, I suggest you look at "Raynox DCR-250 Macro Attachment" that fits onto your existing Macro
Amazon cost £65.00 (may need some step-up rings)

Here's my two handheld test shots with and without Raynox using Olympus 60mm 1:1 Macro with in-camera stacking, the final shot being same distance using Raynox

Richard, I was looking at Neewer sliding rail, half price of Manfrotto, do you think they are ok?

Hi Fay

If you are looking at this type then I would suggest against it. I had one when I started out and found that in terms of build quality it isn't up to the job. Mechanically everything "moves" when it shouldn't so it is not accurate for really close up stuff.

The Child + xmas minions were sitting under my monitor as shot.

I tried my cheapo Microscope today, it's ok for live viewing of PCBs, coins, notes etc but the images it captures were rubbish.
