I thought that Chris Nash collected the prints before end of season.

We need the print holders you made, not the prints. Do you have them? Prints for display will only be those belonging to the members helping. They need to bring them with them. I have the holders.
I gave my prints to Chris Nash. |
Thanks David, I trust you'll bring them early or do you need me to collect?
All I would suggest nothing is displayed that has been handed in for SLF or exhibition as this is a street pop up and we don't know how it will turn out. I will be using old or spare prints which won't matter if they get blown off in the wind or by idle hands. Until the display boards are up we have no idea on how many prints will be needed. It could be a couple or 1/2 the display, depends on who is available at any one time. The aim of the exercise is to promote OPS, the exhibition and generally engage with anyone interested in photography. Opt1st are using it to launch their calendar competition.

The following have volunteered for Saturday:
Alan Graham Richard Waterman Jan Gilkes Chris Nash Chris Sawyer Barrie Duffield Paul Brett David Barnes More hands to set up/close down will make it quicker. Orpington 1st have the display boards in a shop not far from the venue. Their gazebo is inside the Walnuts Centre they may need help getting that over and up. As for a rota I think it is up to you guys to say how much time you have to give. I will stay for the duration but would hope enough will also stay to allow visits for a pit stop. If you can only spare an hour or two please let me know now so that I can factor that in. Knowing times you are available would be useful. I will look at printing a couple of A3 posters to use on our display. |
I can get there for 10.00 am until 12.30 ish
Did i read somewhere that you would need us to bring a few prints along or has this been agreed
Keeping fingers crossed its still dry and summer does not end (tonights forecast for Saturday showed heavy showers which may miss us)

Thanks Barrie, I’ll put you down for the 1st half.
You do need to bring some prints down. Not ones to be used in SLF or exhibition as we don’t know what the conditions will be like. Forecast is rain and thunderstorms on Friday but Saturday is meant to be warm and dry.
