From National rail Enquiries:

From National Rail Enquiries:

From National Rail Enquiries:

Southeastern service from Orpington to London Cannon Street

09:41 train from Orpington [ORP], platform 8 to New Cross [NWX]

Arrives at 10:08 (27mins)

London Overground service from New Cross to Dalston Junction

10:12 train from New Cross [NWX], platform D to Wapping [WPE]

Arrives at 10:21 (9 mins)

Sounds like a race between those going via London Bridge and me going via New Cross.

After further research I have to admit that the London Bridge route might be better.  There's a lot of stops on the New Cross train and the East London Line only runs every 15 minutes and if I miss the train then there's a long wait....

9.38, Platform 2 is better

Anyone missing?

Thank you very much Ian for organising our outing. I, for one, had a great time and enjoyed everyone’s company.
Hopefully, I shall have some images for competitions at the Club.
Looking forward to our next outing! 😀

Hi,

It was a good fun day with some great company. I only took 162 photos today, must have spent too much time talking, not enough time snapping away. The lunch break, in a historic pub was most welcome and provided a good opportunity to chat, must find something similar for the next trip.

Thank you for the kind comments, the next trip is nearly planned out. Would you want to do the Isle of Dogs walking tour, on a day when it is also low tide around 12:00-13:00 like today?
Being on the foreshore provided some interesting photos, I'll be playing with them over the next few days.

This was an important structure but need to ask Ian again "What"

I think they call these Mudlarks (Scavengers)
